Animals are at the heart of the Utah County Fair! Our agricultural heritage runs deep in Utah County, and the fair celebrates this tradition with livestock shows, horse competitions, and interactive animal experiences.

🐄 Livestock Shows
The Utah County Fair features a variety of livestock shows and competitions, showcasing the best animals from local farms and ranches.
Thursday, July 30th - Saturday, August 1st, 2026
- Beef, Sheep, Swine, Goat, and Poultry divisions
- Open to 4-H and FFA youth exhibitors
- Market and breeding classes available
- Championship awards and premium money

🐰 Petting Zoo
Come meet some barnyard animals at the Utah County Fair Interactive Animal Experience!
Hours: Thursday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Friday Noon - 10:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
Fun for the whole family - fairgoers can interact with goats, chickens, steers, pheasants, and more. This exhibit is ideal for lovers of all things furry, fuzzy, and feathery.

🐴 Horse Show
The Utah County Fair features both the Open Horse Show and the Fantastic Fun Horse Show, offering something for every rider and horse enthusiast.
Saturday, July 25th, 2026 - Large Indoor Arena
- $10 registration fee per class (pay on site)
- Buckles awarded for high point in each division
- Halter, Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Barrels, Poles
Thursday, July 30th, 2026 - Large Indoor Arena
- Fun, friendly competition for all ages and abilities
- Come play at the fair with your horse - no show clothes required!

Animals are at the heart of the Utah County Fair and their care and welfare are a top priority. Utah County was founded by pioneers who carved out towns, cities and farms from the high desert of the Great Basin. The Utah County Fair is a celebration of that heritage that is grounded in over 125 years of tradition in agriculture.
The Utah County Fair is passionate and vigilant about animal care. During our annual fair, hundreds of animals take part in our various exhibitions, educational programs and competitions.
The Utah County Fair Livestock Show consults with professional veterinary advisors. We are committed to being proactive in the protection of the animals involved in the fair.
